Oregon State Police – 05/18/10
Oregon State Police troopers from The Dalles Area Command office are continuing the investigation into a fatal traffic crash shortly after midnight Tuesday morning that resulted in the death of three people from Mattawa, Washington. The crash occurred when the pickup they were in crossed the centerline of Highway 97 about ten miles south of Grass Valley and collided head-on with a commercial truck. Positive identification was made on all three victims and next of kin notifications were done with help of Grant County, Washington Sheriff’s Office.
