I am keeping track and about half of all major car wrecks are caused by drunk illegal mexicans in Oregon. thing is someone hired them to work illegally or they wouldn’t be on the Oregon Coast. * HUMBERTO PINEDA PALILLO, age 24, from Newport
* MELVIN ROLANDO ESCOBAR DE LA ROSA, age 30, from Newport
The driver of a vehicle involved in a single vehicle traffic crash that resulted in the death of two men Tuesday morning south of Seal Rock was arrested by Oregon State Police (OSP) following his release from a Corvallis-area hospital this afternoon. OSP troopers, with the assistance of Lincoln County District Attorney’s Office, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office and Newport Police Department are continuing the investigation. The names of the two Illegal aliens from Mexico deceased passengers are not released until they area positively identified and next of kin are notified.

On February 2, 2011 at approximately 1:00 p.m. an OSP trooper arrested JOSE MANUEL DE LEON COLOMO, age 24, from Newport, after he was released from Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis. He was transported to the Lincoln County Jail in Newport and lodged on the following charges:
* Two (2) counts of Manslaughter in the First Degree
* Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants
* Two (2) counts of Recklessly Endangering Another Person
* Reckless Driving
According to Sergeant Justin McGladrey, on February 1, 2011 at approximately 10:30 a.m. a 1997 Chrysler van with three occupants was northbound on Highway 101 near milepost 154 negotiating a left curve when it traveled off the right side of the road. The van continued over a slight embankment and crashed into a tree where it broke apart into several pieces along side the highway.
The van’s driver, JOSE MANUEL DE LEON COLOMO, was extricated by Seal Rock Fire Department personnel and transported by REACH air ambulance to Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis with non-life threatening injuries where he was treated until released and arrested.
The two adult male passengers were pronounced deceased at the scene. One of the two passenger victims was ejected from the van.
OSP troopers from the Newport Area Command office are continuing the investigation with the assistance of the Multi-Agency Traffic Team. A Lincoln County District Attorney’s Office representative and the Lincoln County Medical Examiner responded to the scene.
Central Coast Fire & Rescue, Yachats Fire Department, and ODOT are assisting at the scene. The highway was restricted to one lane until about 4:30 p.m.
